Gallop Cafe at Christmas time

This was taken around Christmas. We had a light dinner at Gallop - the room is always full and buzzing and so festive this particular time of year. They have beautiful ornaments hanging above, dancing elf looking friends, and all things whimsical. Geoffrey and I had been discussing eggnog and whether we liked it or not. He likes the stuff from the jug and I wouldn't go near that stuff, thick and yellowish. But this... this my friends was REAL eggnog! Hot, spiced, rummy goodness with fresh whip - oh and a "side" of a killer bread pudding. Cheery, yes?

Today - breakfast in bed!

Our good friend Greg is in town so we've been hanging out late'ish for the past few days. Today, we stayed in bed and Geof grabbed us a yummy breakfast from Gallop Cafe just down the street. We LOVE going there for brunch, lunch, dinner, take out... great food and good people - as seen by Geof's plate!
